I had a wonderful shopping experience at Velosync while looking to replace an old pair of cycling shoes that were causing some discomfort in the feet. The team at Velosync were quick to assess my situation and provide a range of solutions that help resolve the problem with old shoes. Being an authorized reseller of Lake shoes, I tried a model that perfectly fitted my feet. Shaunna was great in replacing the cleats to their position from the old pair of shoes. I'm now very much looking forward in cycling longer distance without the discomfort when pedaling.

This place is one of it’s kind (in my honest opinion). As an introduction i’d like to point out that i’ve bought 2 pair of shoes in the last 6 months, 1 at sport expert (0 customer support) and 1 at Cycle Néron (had some support but either the person that sold me the shoes had 0 knowledge OR they didn’t use their knowledge to point me in the right direction). So 400$ down the drain for no reason since my foot pain ain’t getting better. Long story short, my PT told me about “Lake” shoes since they’re wider and fit a wider range of feet. So here is how it all went down with Lake and Velosync.

First of all, i went on the Lake website to see what they’re offering etc. They have a size chart and a way for you to measure your feet to have a rough idea of what shoes would be good for you.

Second, i end up doing everything and emailing them some question that Garrett from Lake answered perfectly and then told me to go see Velosync since they’re very good at what they do which is bike fitting etc.

So i end up calling Velosync left a message and they called me back the same day to schedule an appointment for a shoe fitting. When i got there, nice bike shop, clean. I got there on time and they were on time aswell, as expected. Shaunna greets me and 5mins into our conversation i KNOW i’m in good hands and she’s good at what she does. So she “shoe fitted” me and proposed multiple solutions, shoes, insoles etc. After a couple trial and error we end up choosing a shoe that fits me and no custom insoles for now. Had to buy new pedals since i was on SPD cleats and wanted to change my system anyways so ended up buying R7000s from Shimano. On that end, Shaunna also explained to me a couple differences and proposed different models in regards to how the pedals where made and how it would possibly feel. Got new socks aswell cause why not ? at that point i’m 800$ in so 30$ won’t change much. Once i’m ready to pay i met her husband (which is the co-owner/worker), i can’t remember your name brother sorry about that, what a cool guy i felt like i connected with both. They both know what they’re talking about and they are very lovely. When you go at Velosync you can feel that they don’t sell expensives stuff JUST because it’s expensive, it’s because it’s either what YOU need or the best. At any point Shaunna could’ve sold me 850$ shoes, i would’ve bought them but no, she sold me shoes that were for “my foot” regardless of the price.

I can’t stress this enough, if you’re looking to buy anything related to cycling, PLEASE take the trip and go see them.

I for one, will be making that 30mins commute any day to get that damn good customer service, fk the others they don’t amount to sht when compared to Velosync.

The entire team at Velosync is amazing! I had a shoe fit as well as a bike fit. During those sessions, Shaunna took all the time needed to make sure everything worked.
Great place, great people. When you walk in you feel like your stepping in your best friends house! I cannot recommand them enough.

Ne cherchez plus pour faire votre positionnement vélo ! Après plusieurs essaies ailleurs, j'ai enfin trouvé un endroit où l'on prend le temps d'écouter pour régler des enjeux précis de positionnement ou simplement pour améliorer son confort sur le vélo. Velosync possède de plus les outils pour y arriver avec précision comme par exemple le saddle pressure mapping. Je recommande fortement !

Went to VeloSync for a fit for 2 different bikes as well as to buy some cycling shoes. A lot of thought and care went into the bike fits and into the shoe measurements and selection as well. I have had the opportunity to have my bike fit by shaunna at Velosync. The experience was incredible, her approach to fitting is different than standard fitting which I have seen to be very helpful to me and I am much more comfortable cycling thanks to this great fit. I would recommend to anyone who looking for a fitting to contact her and also even if your not, it would be a great idea to have her check your current fitting to see if there are any adjustments needed.
