I HAD to make a review after the phenomenal service I received. I’m not sure why they don’t have a 5 star rating yet, but I hope this gets them there. The ladies at Tilly and Mint went above and beyond for my first spa experience in San Angelo. From the beginning until the end, I was impressed.

I booked a wax, facial, and massage in less than 24hrs notice. It was a much needed birthday treat so one of the owners (De’Aun) took her time and helped me with plan my 4 hour experience.

When I got to the spa, I encountered a friendly greeting from Elisa, and it was a less than 5 minute wait before my appointment began. The other owner (Courtney) did my wax. It was the least painful Brazilian I think I’ve ever had. She was super knowledgeable and friendly. I fell asleep during my facial with Brittany and massage with Liv because it was so relaxing.

What made my experience over the top and almost brought me to tears was that they had surprised me with a cake as a birthday treat!

This was the most amazing first impression/experience I’ve ever had and cannot stop recommending them to everyone!

I visited the spa for the first time. I had a haircut by Janie. I wasn’t sure at first of going as short as I did and I’m soooo happy I did! I’ve gotten so many compliments on my haircut. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The spa has a very cute gift shop. For anyone looking for a stylist, I highly recommend Janie. She’s sweet, funny and very good at her craft. A+ for Tilly & Mint and Janie!

Elisia has been doing my nails for some time now. I love that she does a dry manicure with every visit, her room is always so clean and she’s so welcoming! I highly recommend her for any nail, or skincare needs!

I went in to get a facial & without being too harsh.... I wasn't impressed. I have acne prone skin with dark spots & clogged pores. I didn't leave with my face feeling or looking amazing. & I've had some facials were it was an instant noticeable difference. On the plus side, the price point was good.

I’ve been here a few times.
-I had some awesome massages from Louise, but apparently she’s not there anymore.
-I got a facial once that was ok.
-I got a haircut once.
-I got a great nail set and pedicure.
-Most recently I booked half-leg & underarm waxing for summer. The experience was odd. The technician made me get completely disrobed and lay under a towel just to do the lower half of my legs and my underarms. I've had waxing multiple times before and disrobing completely has never been a requirement. Usually you don't have to disrobe at all for an underarm and lower leg wax. I questioned her and she said that's how she does it. The sides of my calves also still had all their hair a week after my appointment.

I'd go back if Louise came back, or for a nail set.

I had a pedicure and manicure done by Elisia. She did a great job and I felt relaxed the whole time. It was a different experience than my past pedicures where I am usually tense because they rush and hurt me. Elisia Took her time and made me feel relaxed. I really enjoyed getting to know her and her work.

I love this place! It is so much better than going to a salon to get your nails done and have to sit or wait on 20 other people. This is a one on one, in a private room. Elisia always does my nalils and my pedi. She is very gentle and takes her time to do the job right, although she doesn’t take forever which is great because I am always on the run. Definitely recommend!
