Before meeting Meganne I was feeling overwhelmed by my emotions and body. I was sad, depressed and anxious all the time. And then rage would rear its ugly head. I had aches and pains and struggled to feel good overall. I wasn’t getting what I needed from my PCP and other doctors I’d been seeing. I had my lexapro dose doubled early in 2024 to “help”. While the HRT I was ordering online was “working”, my gut told me it wasn’t the right one for me.

I’ve been working with Meganne since September 2024 (it’s January 2025) to balance my hormones and get a full picture of what’s going on inside my body with comprehensive labs. I discovered that lexapro was literally about to kill me b/c it was not a serotonin imbalance I had but rather a hormone imbalance (my levels were basically in the toilet). I titrated off Lexapro, got on the right dosage of bio identical estrogen & progesterone and started a whole body detox.

I’ll now be adding tirzepitide into my toolbox to help further reduce inflammation in my body and help with weight loss. My toolbox has been a SLOW consistent series of changes like cutting out processed foods, food dyes, natural flavors and added sugars. I focus on Whole Foods, daily movement, good sleep habits, getting rid of toxins in cleaning supplies and products I use on my body. And a rarely drink alcohol.

Working with Meganne has been life changing!! She has taken the time to look at me as a whole person and help me get on the right HRT, off lexapro, start a while body detox and feel like an optimized version of myself along my perimenopause journey. She is patient, caring and knowledgeable and wants to best for you! She gives you all your options and her thoughts and experience on all the tests and modalities she recommends.
