Die Lage dieses Resort ist traumhaft, die Zimmer auch, ebenfalls das Personal aber!!! Das "Aber" bezieht sich darauf, dass wir mittags ankamen und wir somit keine Möglichkeit mehr hatten an irgend einem Programm teilzunehmen. Es war Mittagszeit und so baten wir um ein Essen, das hätte auch prima geklappt, nur wollten wir dazu ein Bier. Das hat nicht geklappt, denn wir befanden uns in einem "Non-Alcohol-Hotel". Wir waren sehr erstaunt und auch sauer, denn hier handelte es sich ja um ein gutes 4-Sterne-Hotel. Wir wurden darüber belehrt, dass das Hotel keine Lizenz für Alkoholausschank hätte. Auf unser "warum" wurde uns gesagt, dass angeblich die Inder sehr viel trinken würden. Entschuldigung, aber ich dachte wir befinden uns in einem "internationalen" Hotel. Die Angestellten waren dann so lieb und haben uns von der Straße Bier geholt. Keine 100 m entfernt wurde nämlich öffentlich Bier verkauft!!! Schon sehr seltsam. Egal, wir bekamen dann ein sehr gutes Mittagessen, mussten aber an dem entfernten Pool unser Essen zu uns nehmen, damit wir nicht gesehen wurden. Also ich weiß nicht, das ist mir in den 35 Jahren in denen ich Asien bereise, noch nie passiert. Aber alles andere war wirklich traumhaft, da kann man gar nicht meckern, nur ich finde, man soll denn Gästen vorher sagen was sie erwartet oder?

Originelles uns schönes kleines Hotel mit direkter Sicht auf die Athirapally Wasserfälle. ||Neben normalen Hotelzimmern weist das Hotel auch ein Baumhaus-Zimmer auf. Wir haben dieses Treehouse gebucht und waren schlichtweg begeistert. Auf 3 Seiten ist der Blick frei auf die umliegenden Bäume und Wälder sowie auf den Wasserfall. Vor Mücken und Tieren schützt ein Gitter, das die Aussicht jedoch nicht einschränkt.||||Bergseitig weist das Baumhaus eine geschlossene Wand auf, so dass niemand das Zimmer einsehen kann. ||||Das Baumhaus wird über eine Treppe erreicht, das Badezimmer und die Dusche sind gleich neben dem Bett angesiedelt. Da das Baumzimmer in der Nähe des Wasserfalls ist, hört man die ganze Zeit das Rauschen – in Kombination mit den Geräuschen aus dem „Urwald“ ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis. ||||Einzig der schlecht beleuchtete und unebene Weg zum Baumhaus kann bemängelt werden, aber wir sind ja im Urwald…||||Das hervorragende und romantische Abendessen auf der grossen Terrasse, das herzliche und zuvorkommende Personal und die wunderschöne Lage machten unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas wirklich einmaligen.

Recently attended a destination wedding with my family. The place is located at the foot of the mountains and is very scenic.
However pathetic condition of rooms and service was not upto the mark
The rooms aren't maintained, washrooms are stinky, bathtubs broken, wooden frames or doors worn off. They don't even clean rooms properly. Electricity supply was good with no cuts however.
The concept of service is lost and broken. You cannot get any staff member, food is very average. Selected items on the menu is compromised on the day of the event and later a sorry is delivered. If you are looking for a good and meaningful experience, do not book this resort for your wedding/function.

We attended my cousin's wedding at Rainforest Resort, and while the location was stunning—quiet, peaceful, surrounded by lush rainforests and beautiful hills—the overall experience was mixed.

The day before the wedding, there was a staff strike, leaving us in shock and worried that the wedding might be canceled. Thankfully, things got sorted out the next day, and we were provided rooms, with the ceremonies proceeding smoothly.

However, my father, who has over 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry, visited the kitchen and found it to be the dirtiest he has ever seen. This was a big disappointment, and I strongly recommend checking the kitchen before booking for an event.

On the positive side, the other arrangements were well-executed, and the venue is perfect for those seeking a tranquil, scenic setting for their event. If the management improves cleanliness and ensures staff reliability, this place could be exceptional.

A Refreshing Getaway Resort was the perfect escape! The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a serene environment to unwind. The swimming pool was a major highlight, offering a refreshing dip amidst the lush greenery. The DJ party was additional takeaway. The food was delicious, satisfying our cravings with every meal. The hospitality and services was excellent.A truly enjoyable experience!

The resort provided a disappointing experience overall. The food was terrible, causing food poisoning for me and my friends. The pool was overly chlorinated, leading to tanning and irritation due to improper chlorine levels. The rooms were filthy, appearing as though they hadn't been cleaned after the previous occupants. Our entire first day was wasted waiting for the rooms and bathrooms to be cleaned. The place was infested with flies and mosquitoes, with no adequate measures to address the issue. The staff were unhelpful and dismissive, showing little concern for customer satisfaction. Moreover, the lady who booked our stay stopped answering calls after we made the full payment. While the New Year party had potential, it was ruined by a poorly managed fireworks display, where falling debris and excessive smoke forced people to leave due to discomfort and suffocation.

We recently visited this resort but let me tell you honestly the experience was very bad, We had kids with us, as per the menu they don’t have anything no french fries no maggie nothing, on top of that our room AC didn’t work so all the way we had to go down to complain again and again because the landline was not working, room service was not given and when we asked they said weekends we don’t give service.
After requesting so many times finally our room was changed the next day..
The rooms were not up to the mark.
That only good thing about this resort is food..that too what you get in buffet.
