Run don’t walk to Dr Burke’s to take advantage of the introductory lymphatic drainage package. I had my first lymphatic drainage session, had no expectations I felt results immediately and for the following weeks after. I was impressed with the immediate impact on my digestive system, reduction in joint pain, bloating and overall toning of my abdomen after one session. Recommend this to anyone that has digestive problems bloating, constipation, something so small non invasive and huge impact. I will definitely be following up with more sessions.

I came here for sudden-onset sciatica. I saw Julie Burke because I had heard about network spinal analysis as a gentle alternative to standard chiropractoring and wanted to try it out in addition to everything else I was doing (rest, acupuncture, craniosacral / standard massage, stretches). I liked the way Julie talked about following the cues of the spine and working with my body's own intelligence to heal. She also said she's treated sciatica (and herniated discs, as it turned out to be for me) a number of times and the reviews from Google Maps were very high.

Because I've meditated on my body a lot, during our 3 sessions I could feel a lot of shifting in my energy system even though she was doing very gentle and light touches and barely any physical manipulation. I even felt very blissful right after the first session!

But then later that night the pain flared much worse than it had before. After the 2nd session with Julie she recommended $40 pain supplements which I bought and took and did absolutely nothing for me and the pain was even worse than after the first session. When I told her about the pain from her treatments she said that was an "unusual result". To be honest, it kind of irked me that this was her response — I didn't feel a sense of empathy or human acknowledgement that what she did caused me pain. I got a lot of explanations but no apology or even acknowledgement, though she did tell me she "cared about me" as she rushed off to another patient. Very confusing! Julie also talks very fast so I found it a bit hard to get a word in. After a third session that just caused more pain it was clear this treatment was not going to work for me and Julie admitted the same thing and said she didn't want to do any harm.

So that's just my experience. I have no idea if her methods would work for other people, but for me her treatments caused more physical pain with no benefit and the interpersonal dynamics felt a bit weird. Figured I'd share in case it was useful to anyone else.
