I have been a patient since 2018. I have never experienced back pain relief that actually lasted before visiting Florida Wellness. Everyone in the office was extremely patient, loving, and caring. I remain a patient in 2021, and I am sure I will follow them anywhere they go. The chiropractor and physical therapy teams are definitely patient-centered, they make me feel like family every time. Brian, Dr. Finson, and Sean have been awesome as well as all the other staff members! Thanks

I have been going to Florida Wellness Medical Group's downtown campus for over a year. The entire staff has always been very courteous and professional during my visits. I have been treated by Dr. Leonard for various aliments and my overall wellness has definitely improved under his care. He shows great compassion and has a strong desire to want you to feel and be your best. Though I respect the opinions of other raters on Google, my experience with this team of healthcare professionals has earned them 5 STARS. If you are still not sure you are making right choice for care, stop your research now and make an appointment. Dr. Leonard, please thank your entire team for keeping my at my best. Updated Review 8-17-16: I have continued to return to this office because of the convenience of location and appointment availability. It took a while and I continue to see some admin staff turnover, but overall the office has improved. I was recently part of an auto accident and I can't praise their rehab portion of the practice enough. Brian from administration is awesome, Dr. Finson is the only chiropractor to successfully adjust my back, and Sean is one of the best massage therapists for back/neck pain I've ever seen, Colleen is as well though I didn't see her as much. The medical staff on the other side have changed a lot since when I first was a patient - I was always happy with the doctors and nurses I saw so I was nervous, but the new medical staff have been just as responsive/helpful.

Updated Review 2-22-16: The staff from this location has had some turn-around from what I understand and Michael, the office manager, did put forth an effort to resolve the issue. The new in-take person was friendly and they now have a privacy wall where they take your vitals. When I last went for allergy drops I noticed paper questionnaires asking for patient feedback which is definitely a start in the right direction. As I said, I didn't have any issues with the medical staff and I'll continue to use them because they are incredibly convenient with their location and providing the allergy drops I've been prescribed. This is an example of the office staff being reactive rather than proactive but I'm hopeful that their new efforts can turn it around. I'll update as I continue to see progress.

Original Review: This one star is for the office staff - I have never experienced such a dysfunctional group of office staff as I have in this downtown office. I once ordered allergy drops, was called and told I could pick them up, went in to pick them up, then was told they weren't there, then was called on my drive back home and told that they were there - they just couldn't find them. So I had to go back into the office the next day - they gave me some vouchers in an attempt to make up for it, which would be nice if it was a pizza joint, but not a medical facility. As an office administrator myself (not in the medical field) I understand that a day can get hectic and things can get lost in the shuffle, but with this place it was just one bad experience after another. They're nice, yeah, I'll give them that.

If you want to get lab results, you'll have to call a minimum of 7 times. I've had to do that on two occasions until I finally gave in an asked the scheduling person to help me get a hold of the office staff because the person at extension 112 in charge of getting patients their lab results doesn't answer or return calls.

The physician I started with at this location is no longer there, I liked her a lot. I've seen a couple of the other ones there and they are alright.

I can't speak for the rehab part of this practice.

If you want an office that cares about you, or even just answers the phone, find another place.

After dealing with neck pain over a year because last Chiropractor/Physical Therapist couldn’t do anything to relive it, it became bad enough I could no longer handle it. I found Dr. Leonard through a recommendation of my primary care physician. My first visit was hours after I called for the appointment, as I was leaving for a trip and they wanted to see me before I left so I could enjoy my trip. After the initial exam, he explained what he thought was the issue, took X-rays and performed a treatment. The pain was reduced immediately. The next visit, the X-rays confirmed what he thought and my treatments started. The pain is almost non-existent now in just over a week. His office is not only relieving the pain, but creating conditions, through physical therapy, to stop it from coming back by treating the cause. I would recommend Dr. Leonard and his staff to all my friends and family! They are friendly, care about their patients and very efficient and effective! Definitely healthcare at its finest!

I have been coming to the Florida Wellness Medical Group downtown facility to see Dr. Ridge for over a year now. The staff is very friendly and I get in right away. I have bad pain in my neck, back and hip. My hip pain was completely gone after just a couple months of adjustments. She works wonders, I always leave her office feelings like a new person!

Having never gone to a chiropractic physician before I was skeptical of the treatment and the results. I was beyond impressed by Dr Ridge simply put she works magic. Now, what’s more impressive is Florida Wellness Clinic is not just a chiropractic office but also has a medical clinic that works together to provide all around treatment. If your looking for quality care and friendly staff this is the place to be.

Dr. Allen is wonderful, and so is Brian, the patient care facilitator in the downtown location. The downtown location is definitely the best location of them all. I’ve had some issues in the past with being able to reach the doctor’s assistant when I needed updates on blood work or had any primary care questions, but I haven’t had issues with that since I brought it to their attention. Now the issue seems to be with them being double booked because I waited 50 min from my scheduled appt time this morning to be seen.

I’ve been coming here for over a year to treat symptoms of my neck injuries (herniated discs) - between chiropractic care, physical therapy, and manual therapy, I feel like I have a true team dedicated to my health - special shout out to Dr. Ridge and Andres who I spend the most time with! We have made so much progress in managing my pain - and as an added benefit, the office staff is exceptionally friendly and easy to work with.
