This spa is the best kept secret that locals really should know about. Kelly the owner is awesome - she doesn't even need to be told what's wrong - she will find it and fix it! I always feel amazing after a Kelly massage! Angela is the next senior and she is also great! I'm a runner and I love how she massages all tightness out of my leg muscles. They are really knowledgeable about the body and they get results. Better than Chinatown

If you want a relaxing massage and not deep tissue this might not be the place for you. The staff is nice but they do not listen. I said I wanted a soft massage. I still got a deep massage with tools. Leaving me with bruising. I repeatedly asked for her to stop and to ease up but she insisted. I should have gotten up and left. Currently, I can't put much pressure on the left side of my back because of the bruising.

They are very rude! When I walked in they act like I was not there. When I went to pay they kicked me out and said I didn’t have enough money. Do not come here if you want a massage !

This place is amazing, really liked their deep tissue massage. It was the best most
/deep massage I have had, a bit painful, but that is exsactly what I was looking for and needed.

I Just had a 90-minute massage at Broad & Wall Wellness! The therapist started with a wonderful ashiatsu (back-stepping) massage, using her body weight to deeply work out the knots in my back. It was the perfect balance of firm pressure and adjusting my back.

She then moved on to using a Gua Sha jade hammer to scrape my back, which really increased the blood flow and released a lot of tension. I guess her hands got tired, as she kept saying my back strong - yeah super tight, all my therapists say so (both men and women).

The massage also incorporated elements of tui na and Thai yoga stretching, which was perfect for targeting my chronically tight shoulders. The therapist commented that I must have a strong constitution, as she was able to apply a lot of deep pressure without me flinching or groaning. I remember going to Suchada in SF and the guy next to me was in agony, um you can always ask for lighter pressure or go for swedish. For me, I think the only place I had to ask for lighter was in Bali, the 4ft skinny lady was super strong back when, and i went everyday, eventually got used to the pressure..

Anyway, as someone who gets regular deep tissue, thai, tui na, ashiatsu, and sports massages, I really appreciated therapist trying her best to get the knots out with every tool in her arsenal. Didnt get her name though so cant share here.

Overall, this was one of the best massages I've had in NY. The combination of techniques left me feeling relaxed yet energized. My back and shoulders feel so much better. I'll definitely be returning to Broad  & Wall Wellness in the future.

Was there a couple of weeks ago. Ended up w/ someone with whom I was unable to communicate. Not that I mind, since I came for the massage. I just need to be able to tell her what I want. I ended up with a more expensive deep tissue massage, which is not what I wanted. i.e. $20 more, $30 if you pay with a credit card… good thing I don’t work for the IRS.
Re the quality of the massage, the hot stones where a nice surprise. There were times she had her elbow digging into my bones more than my muscles. I mean I’m places where there aren’t muscles. I’ve had lots of massages and this one wasn’t that great. I didn’t see any certifications, so I’m doubting she was certified. Perhaps this is why they are a bit cheaper than other spots.
The last disappointment was the entire 90-min massage was laying on my stomach, with about 75 minutes just on my upper back. When she said ‘OK’, I assumed it was time to turn over. Nope, she left and we were done. My quads were killing me from my workout that day and I could have really used a proper massage to help there.
