I literally can not say enough good things about Bayview Animal Hospital and the people who make this place what it is! We recently lived through a horrible situation with our last fur-baby. We lost 3 last year in 2023, and we were not ready to lose another baby this year. We went to 3 other places, not only for diagnosis but just to get an idea of cost for a mammary tumor removal.

I can absolutely tell you today that not all veterinarian's and veterinarian hospitals are created equal. Some are just out to make the most money they can, and we came to that realization rather quickly, and so did our girl Gypsy. We arrived at Bayview for a consultation on a Wednesday and had an appointment for surgery on Friday. The best part of that initial visit was the people. We were greated with care and compassion from the very beginning and when we went into the assigned room to chat with Kasey, who could not be more wonderful...we, and Gypsy knew we had found "her place"! Only when Dr. Vega came in, were we absolutely positive that Gypsy was right where she belonged. And that we just might have some more time left with her.

If you are happy with where you take your fur baby/babies, then by all means, stay. However, if you are searching for a caring, compassionate, animal loving veterinarian and an equally wonderful staff, then we have found them for all of us!! And they are Gypsy Rose approved! She is back to her usual self and with an extra pep in her step...we know she feels better because she looks better and is excited about EVERYTHING again!!

Thank you, Bayview, for everything!! You all are amazing people, and I hope that you all know what a difference you've made in not only Gypsy's life... but also in ours! ❤️

I have nothing but great things to say about Bayview Animal Hospital. I’m very particular about who treats my pups. I have a large amount of dog knowledge and can quickly tell if a vet office is honest about their intentions. I truly feel like Bayview cares about every pet they see. They have the cutest white boards that personally welcome your pet to their visit. They are thorough with their exams and give you all your options when creating a treatment plan. They are great at respecting a dog’s body language. They put in an effort to bond with the dog they are treating and really make sure that the pup feels comfortable. All three of my dogs have had great experiences. Best of all, they truly listen to me and my concerns. They have offered solutions that other vets have not and have changed the quality of life that my dogs have. I have a very scared and reactive pup that they went out of their way to make sure he could safely get in and out of his exam room without any added stress. They also get you in for appointments so quickly. I have yet to have to wait more than a few days to be seen. I could go on and on about how great this vet is. I highly recommend them.

This place went above and beyond to help my little guy today! He's in recovery after a long surgery to remove foreign objects from his stomach. They were successful in removing two balls and pieces of a hair tie from his stomach and intestines. It's pricey, but worth it for the caring service that you will receive here. Meghan, the nurse who took the call, knew immediately that our problem was a serious emergency and promptly got us in for a visit. She was reassuring and helpful, just as Corra, the nurse, was. Corra also made us feel welcome and okay about the situation we were in. The doctor was very straightforward about how expensive the surgery was going to be, even offering other options in the area for low-cost surgeries. However, we didn't want to risk the biscuit, and I really appreciated the confidence and respect of all of the staff here, so we decided to stay.

I (happily) discovered this wonderful new vet practice after my dog’s former vet changed management and went downhill. I was scared because Irene had blood in her urine and the caring staff here was kind enough to fit her in. I was so pleased with the vet and support staff, who were super sweet to my senior girl and didn’t try to push expensive testing and treatments on us. They gave me options instead. Within a couple hours of taking the meds they prescribed her, Irene’s symptoms subsided and she was on the mend. This is my pup’s official new vet! I can’t recommend them highly enough!

I cannot express how grateful I am to the staff here. Everyone my pup and I met today was kind, considerate, patient, and loving. Buddy has quite the personality and energy, but they were amazing with him. So happy to have some great care in our new home Also - We met with a vet tech named Megan I believe! She said she was new to Bayview animal hospital. She was absolutely fantastic 🙂

We have a Schnauzer that is 13 years old named Bandit. For years other vets have refused to perform dentals and look into removing a growth over his eye. We tried several vets to get opinions out here in Miami but no luck. We were extremely grateful that Dr. Vega and staff took the time to evaluate the situation and gave us a promising outcome. Bandit went in this past week for his dental and everything turned out great. The dental conditions were addressed and included some extractions to relieve his pain and mouth odor. They were even able to remove the growth over his eye. After the weekend Bandit showed more energy and seemed to be acting like the happier pup he was. This was the outcome we were looking for to extend his quality of life. We are extremely grateful for Dr. Vega and staff with the care and treatment of Bandit. Thank you guys so much!

Well i must say I was disappointed on this visit. I'm not so sure I will be returning To Bayview Vet. I will be looking for another vet to take Georgia to. I was charged 10.00 for Medical waste and supply fee. I've been a Nurse 34 yrs this is not right and I've never been charged this fee EVERRR BEFORE HERE. WHAT A WAY TO SCAM FOR MONEY FROM GEORGIA. TIMES ARE HARD ENOUGH.
