Really not worth it. Honestly a waste of my $200.
The facility is esthetically very pretty but I’m here to be serviced.
Had a 60 minute long massage and they lady did whatever she wanted to. She’d ask about pressure. I’d say medium/hard.
She’d do it for 30 seconds then go back to light soft touches.
Had to ask twice then just stopped.
I’d say my heel or my lower back. They’d get 30 second of attention. Then stopped.
There was ZERO consistency to the massage. On my left side she would touch my arm for 5 minutes. The right side only 1-2 minutes.
Same for other body parts AND she touched my neck/face area after massaging my feet without washing her hands.
I also said TOUCH because there was literally just no massage happening.
I honestly left more frustrated and was not relaxed during it because it was clear this lady was not going to listen to me. Which stressed me out. My husband was with me. It was a couples massage. And we get them often. Once a month probably. I know a good consistent massage. And this was just a lady rubbing lotion on me to be honest. Paying $100+ for that ($200 for both) is just unacceptable. Don’t let the pictures fool you. My husband also agreed about the consistency but we had two different masseuses

Our experience was amazing!!! My skin feels amazing and so clear!!! The cold plunge really helped take the toxins out of my body and the eucalyptus oils smelt AMAZING in the steam room and saunas. Also, the two women working (Mia and Vilma) were incredibly nice and inviting. They explained the all the benefits of the cycle and even helped us with some work from school!!! 10/10 recommend especially if Vilma and Mia are working ?. I will definitely be going again!!!

Don’t miss this incredible oasis of relaxation in downtown Providence! Bodhi Spa is a delight for the senses from the moment you walk up & see their oversized wooden door that welcomes you. Get in at least 15 mins early so you have time to check-in & enjoy the locker area. Upon check-in you’re greeted with a warm hand towel & they help answer any questions you might have.

During your booking they get your sizes so when you arrive a locker is awaiting you with a robe and slides. There’s ample showers & mirror space for you to rinse off before and after the spa. Plenty of toiletries are provided and attendants are present and available for any requests. One amazing feature they have is a quick dry tumbler to dry off your bathing suit if you do the water journey!

The water journey includes 2 hot mineral jacuzzis, 1 cold plunge, a steam room, dry sauna and infrared sauna. It’s a relaxing quiet atmosphere where silence is encouraged. Unfortunately sometimes other guests are inconsiderate of others experience and are loud which can detract from the experience. Staff does actively manage noise levels but can only do so much.

Massage and facial experiences are top notch. Sarah F has absolutely magical hands that soothe any ailment. She provides one of the best massage experiences I have ever had. I enjoyed a facial with Brynne who has a gentle touch & provided a super comprehensive yet relaxing facial experience. My skin felt incredibly hydrated and supple with a glasslike dew - absolutely amazing!

If you’re in need of a moment of calm and leisure Bodhi Spa is the best place to do it in Providence!

Honestly this spa was not worth the one hour drive! It was very basic and not up to date. The locker rooms were not up to date and not spacious at all. The water journey wasn’t what I expected. You can go to a regular spa and do the same thing, but have the option to stay all day. Very underwhelming! The lady at the front desk was rude! She doesn’t listen! We got there early due to being out of town and they had no where for us to sit except in the front
Next to the cold door that kept opening and closing. As a spa there should be a proper waiting room for all clients! Honestly I wouldn’t waste your money here ! Go to spa light(25 mins away) it’s better experience, and you can stay all day if you want for one price, not a few hours ! And they people the are friendly! They will probably respond back with a rude / nasty response, not taking any accountability like I see they have done to others who left a review. Just goes to show the customer service !

The water journey is my favorite luxury to splurge on. Won't break the bank and leaves you feeling so relaxed and serene. They definitely take great pride in providing a wonderful experience. Also, if you get a massage here - the beds are heated! Amazing.

I went on a Tuesday morning 11am for the water journey experience. The staff was polite and welcoming. They provide with everything you need (towels, bathrobe, sandals, water, locker, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body moisturizer) very clean place. The space feels smalls if you have many people at the same time as you, I wouldn’t want to be there during busy hours. I had to wait a few times to try the cold pool and infrared sauna. One shower was not working well. I would go back more often if it wasn’t so expensive. The steam room was and mineral water pool was my favorite. I couldn’t stay for the 2 hours and 40 min, that was too long for me, maybe I will try the 55 min option in the future.

Update: Bodhi reached out to me and rescheduled my appointment for the same week and gave me 50% off. Jason, my masseur, was absolutely wonderful. I cannot speak highly enough of him. He got out really tough knots. I would recommend requesting him for your future massages!

I have gone to this spa many times over the last year and given treatments as gifts to many friends and family members. Today’s experience was horrible. I had booked a spa night for myself and two friends, my appointment was a half hour before my friends and I ended up sitting in the relaxation room for 15 minutes past my appointment time alone waiting for someone to come get me. After 15 minutes I let the front desk know no one came for me. My friends ended up getting there before I had anymore info. They then let me know that my masseuse had accidentally taken the wrong person and they would try to get me in for the next person available. At that point, my two friends have been pulled back for their appointment so this was about 35 minutes after my scheduled appointment and I was again alone in the relaxation room, and they came back to let me know that my masseuse had not taken the wrong person, but in fact was missing, they could not find him. They off offered me a bathing suit and the water journey and initially I said no but then I was just gonna be waiting for my friends for an hour anyways so I took them up on it because they wouldn’t offer anything else, but it was nothing compared to the hot stone massage I was supposed to get and I only stayed in the water journey for a half hour because it was not relaxing. They finally found my masseuse (which they didn’t even bother letting me know), he had other people so I couldn’t get my massage. There was no offer for anything else and when we talked to the front desk about any future comp for the massage I had scheduled they just said “they didn’t charge me for that appointment” as though that should be enough with the fact that I wasn’t charged for the water journey (which I was really not interested in). They didn’t even offer to reschedule my massage for a time slot in the near future. I will not be going back.

My husband and I got a couples massage here. I had to come back and write some nice words about Jason. He was AMAZING! Super professional, asked what area I needed more focus on, the amount of pressure was perfect! He accommodated my larger chest with a rolled up towel. He did the same thing on both sides (if you’re neuro spicy, you understand why that’s important lol). I just can’t compliment him enough. I’ve been telling everyone I know about him and will be returning. I feel more range of motion on my neck and shoulders and just feel lighter overall! The spa was esthetically pleasing and clean.
