I have been a patient of Dr. Skinner's for about 7 years now and counting. I have always felt like I was in good hands from day 1, and I can't say that about any other doctor I've seen. He is very knowledgeable, accommodating, and has a reassuring bedside manner. I also see the on-site chiropractor, Dr. Winningham, on a regular basis. Having seen quite a few different chiropractors in the past, he has been by far the best for my needs. The pleasant experience is full circle from the moment I walk in and am greeted by the hardworking ladies at the front desk. I will never go anywhere else; they're stuck with me! ?

I really enjoyed visiting with Dr. Skinner that I have made him my primary care physician going forward. He takes the time to listen and fully understand your concerns and offers a path for a healthier lifestyle. He is sincere and cares about his patients in which I value in a primary care physician. There are to many doctors in the DFW area, where they just want to get you in and out and send you home with a prescription. If your looking for a doctor who takes time to understand his patients needs, I highly recommend Dr. Skinner.

My experience at Family Heath and Wellness was wonderful. The receptions are friendly and efficient. Dr Skinner was also wonderful. He took the time to listen to all of my symptoms and concerns. He took the time to thoroughly go through my lab results and came up with a plan of care that I felt comfortable with. Overall a great experience!!

I am impressed with how my experience has been at this clinic. I feel like Dr. Skinner really cares about your health and wellness goals. I like that I can call with a concern and actually get a response in a timely manner. He is very thorough and listens to you. You won't be disappointed here!

What others have said about billing and getting calls back is true. Their front office is a complete mess. First of all, their phone doesn't even ring. As soon as you dial it goes straight to a voice message saying "you've reached us after business hours" when it's clearly within business hours (11am, 1:30pm, etc.). They never call back, it takes several messages over 3-4 days even though they tell you "do not leave multiple messages". Dr. Skinner is a great doctor and I like him but the staff and office operations is horrible. Someone else left a review "Their billing system is all messed up and they don't call and check for benefits like they are supposed to and they make you pay 100% upfront without sending you a bill." this is also 100% true. They made me pay over $100 for "my portion" of services even though I have a $0 copay for PCP visits. Now I have to chase them down for a refund.

Dr Skinner and his staff are all very knowledgeable, friendly, and look out for their patients. I personally have had a few different health issues since I've moved here and Dr. Skinner has been able to help get me back on track with the best advice and support possible.
