On a Saturday after Thanksgiving I visited the Bamford with a friend, and while there were some positives, the overall experience fell short of expectations for a luxury establishment. The front desk staff and our masseuse were lovely and professional, but several issues made it hard to justify the premium pricing. The steam room was out of order, which was disappointing for a high-end spa. The presentation throughout the facility needed attention – the fruit and refreshments looked uninviting, and we noticed staff members casually sitting in public areas, which felt unprofessional. Having experienced the Bamford in Miami, the disparity in quality was quite noticeable. While the Brooklyn location might have different standards, the premium pricing suggests a higher level of refinement should be maintained. Though the core services were satisfactory, the overall experience needs significant improvement to match both the price point and the standards set by comparable luxury establishments.

The Bamford Spa is the perfect place to unwind and relax amidst the hustle and bustle of Brooklyn. The entire experience felt very luxurious and curated. I was greeted at the front by Lindsey—she was so kind and welcoming, despite the fact I was running a tad behind schedule. She made my stressful morning completely disappear as she showed me around the spa. So grateful for her positive energy and hospitality. Maria provided a wonderful 50-minute full body massage. She was very receptive to feedback regarding pressure, it was an all-around excellent service she provided. The spa is stocked with everything you need to relax (flavored water, healthy snacks, relaxation room, steam room, high-quality shampoo/conditioner/lotion.) I could have stayed here all day! Thanks for a wonderful experience, I’ll be back!!

This Spa is wonderful! You smell the luxurious aroma before you even enter the space. It seems like I had pulled a muscle; I woke up and wasn’t able to look over my left shoulder. I explained everything to the manager Albert. He was so attentive and knew exactly which treatment and therapist could help me. Maria was amazing! When I left, I was still a little sore, but I was able to actually look over my left shoulder. What a relief!! Can’t wait to go back.

I had the best massage ever from Amal! Spa has gorgeous city views and us amazing way to thoroughly pamper yourself. Session included aromatherapy, hot towels and exactly the right amount of pressure from Amal's magic hands! Followed the massage with a soothing soak in their outdoor tubs, which was another worthwhile splurge. I left the spa feeling like I was floating on a little cloud. I cannot recommend enough! 10 stars!

We planned a 12-hour layover in hopes of exploring the city, but due to rain we changed plans to include a spa day. Beautiful spa with amazing staff! Facial by Lena and massage by Zara, both were absolutely wonderful! Clean facilities with all the amenities. I feel like a new person! Will definitely be back next time ?

Beautiful Spa, but I would say the services aren’t really worth the money. I had some treatments done on a recent visit, and it felt incredibly rushed and mediocre at best. The Spa felt really unorganized as well.

Also, while showering after my treatments the handle in the shower broke (see photo) and I was unable to adjust the temperature which was way too hot. Probably won’t be back to this location but the one in South Beach is phenomenal.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! I booked a 1 hour and 20 min treatment, I was running late because I had an emergency and called to let them know. They said it would cut into my treatment time (though it doesn’t say that ANYWHERE that they don’t have any grace period) since it was still on me I said that’s fine.

I got there 12 min late. so you’d think that i would have an hour and 8 min of treatment right? Nope. My treatment was less than 40 min because they start the treatment the second you walk in the door. So my treatment lasted included a locker tutorial, tour, me getting into my robe, and for the therapist to set up.

When I brought this up to the front desk person she said that they couldn’t do anything because they were closing.

Why did you have that time slot available to book if you weren’t going to give me the treatment I paid for? Like i said it’s ridiculous that you have 0 grace period but i accepted it and i still didn’t even remotely get what i paid for.

To be honest, the massage therapist was nice but the massage that i did get was average at best.

I’d recommend going anywhere but here. This place is over priced and they are not customer focused.

This year I stayed at 1 hotel for my birthday.
My big desire was visit spa and treat myself.
I did a unique massage called Balanced treatment. I really liked the combination of different techniques and the professionalism of the massage therapist.The massage was incredible and I was very relaxed))))

After the massage, I spent time in the lounge area, with delicious tea and fruits.
There was a wonderful atmosphere with relax music and electric fireplace.
The entire staff of the spa was very attentive and pleasant. I also tried that day a hammam floatation therapy. Highly recommend if you didn’t try it before. I combined it with Facial LED mask.
Definitely recommend this spa for you if you want to get high-quality service and a wonderful experience, especially for celebrate any occasions.
