Kelly Warner DVM and staff did a wonderful (surgery) (neuter) job on our 9 month old Oreo. We were well informed/reminded/from day we made the appointment for Oreo's surgery. We were given step by step instructions on what our part was to ensure all goes well before and after the surgery. Everything from cost to possible added cost in which we were given the option to saying yes or no too. The staff at Banfield (inside the Petsmart) were professional and friendly. They acknowledged Oreo by name each time we had phone calls, or in person contact. They REALLY care about our puppy as if he were their own. After surgery we received a phone call to let us know how the surgery went, a good time to pick up Oreo, and home care. We also received a phone call the next day after surgery from Banfield staff to check on Oreo! Very impressed. I have been going to Banfield for Oreo since September 2021, and have been very, very happy with the treatment of our puppy, as well as all information given to us. I recommend this VET office 100.%

Worst vet I’ve ever been to. I took my dog in for a CHECK UP he had never had any issues before ever since then he’s had so many different issues. First he had a scratch on his nose, the vet said he “must have” did it himself in the kennel. How do you just assume that? Secondly I took him in to get a booster and he had a SEVERE allergic reaction, their fault here was not offering me an allergy preventative which is fine that they forgot however when I spoke to them they REFUSED to acknowledge that it was at all related to the shot he was given THE DAY PRIOR. They have a real issue with accountability. I spoke to the lady and told her hey I was here yesterday and now my dog has a mass on his right side which was not there before, she came back and told me it was not related because I had told her it was on the left side and they had injected him on the right and that I said he already had a bump to begin with ? Literally the opposite of what I told them. When I went in they STILL refused to admit it was an allergic reaction, why Now I believe he also go mites while he was there and he has developed some mange. Again my dog was fine and healthy when I took him initially. I’m sure if I call back to complain they’ll also try to say it’s not related and charge me some more. I believe these people don’t care about your pet, they lack accountability and they don’t sanitize their facilities. NEVER going back here again.

Took our puppy for his first puppy check up, we have a vet we have gone to for years and highly recommend (Alvarado vet clinic) but we needed a weekend spot just for this time. As soon as we get a room they start the upselling. I GET IT but then again… we told you what we came for, we are seasoned pet owners and we have clearly turned the “extras” down multiple times. Why keep pushing? It’s extremely annoying and time consuming. They give you a sheet of “extras” you’d like to receive in terms of services and we filled that out. Only for them to come into the room and “HIGHLY RECOMMEND” every single extra service that I already checked no for. We just kept looking at each other like damn.. never again lol we had a coupon to use for a free check up and they “had never ever seen it before and it was not in their system”. At that point I was like dude we’re paying for all these extras, and even though you are a listed providing location for this coupon, you can’t take it, we’ll just take a day off and go to our normal vet. So we were two seconds from just walking out and then and only then did the young lady say “well I can go check in the back and see if anyone else has seen this before” she goes and comes back and MIRACULOUSLY she found it in their system back there. It was almost $65 that she couldn’t find in the system but found once we threatened to leave lol. At this point I still wanted to leave but we had spent a good 45 minutes “dropping off” our pup for his appointment and we just wanted to get to our errands. All in all we ended up spending 140 because they couldn’t help but call to say he was ready and AGAIN, push a highly recommended service lol we were so frustrated we said whatever just go ahead. I seriously wish places like this stuck to what the people are asking for and stop trying so hard to make extra $$$. It’s just annoying to have to constantly say “no I’m good, thanks” to hear “ok… it’s just that it’s HIGHLY recommended and we highly recommend it since it’s highly recommend” NOOO just do what we came for please and push the extras on the next sucker lol even in the very beginning, we provided our pups shot records only to be told they were not accepted since they were given by the breeder AND he had been given shots he didn’t need. We immediately called the breeder concerned while still standing at the desk and they confirmed that they were the right immunizations for puppies. We read the name on the label and sure enough, they were. So we told the front desk lady, he WAS given the right shots ma’am.. to which she then and only then decided to read the labels and respond “oh okay yes they are the beginning puppy shots I apologize “ girl. I would just recommend sticking to another vet, again, Alvarado veterinary clinic has always always always been amazing.

Bait and switch in our time of need. We needed to put our cat down and was told one price (140) we showed up and it increased to 160 and a required office visit of 69. We have used their services for years and it's just upsetting that in our stage of mourning they pull this nickel and dime stuff.

My dog, Cookie, and I love it here! Cookie literally screams and whines as soon as we walk into Petsmart because she loves everyone on staff! Dr Warner is the absolute best, and sent me pictures of my girl in her office recovering from her heartworm treatment when we first got her. Luckily, we haven’t any major issues, so I can’t say for sure how good the wellness plan is for chronic issues, but just for general maintenance and checkups, I recommend!
