This place refused to see my four kids that woke up sick. I called the bcsd district and the district just gave me excuses. They built these centers for us parents to take our kids, if we cannot make it to a regular dr office. Now they are refusing to see students? This district sure likes to waste money!

This wellness center has a convenient location, next to Emerson Middle School (just as their new, upcoming location will be at Stella Hills Elementary School, as well), the Center, including their staff are very helpful, they work quickly and very well with the children. They even scheduled my daughter's follow-up appt. for the next day, and it being during school hours, they explained that they'd provide her transportation by having her picked up from the school, taken to her appt., and she would be brought right back to school afterwards. And she was. They couldn't make it easier on someone.

Fast friendly service if your kids are in Bakersfield city school district they can go there and schools do provide transportation to and from.
They do anything a pediatrician does. Medicines prescribed,immunizations, even eye glasses.

My son had a dentist appointment today he's so nerves about the dentist but overall he had a great visit the Dr was so patient and talked to my son the whole time and my son was happy afterwards and said all the talking help calm him down where he wasn't even nurvus ?

They are there for those that got school sick kids even if you don't got medical they will work with you please if the kids are sick they be taken there checked out before they call the parents and let them now what is going on the kids are comfortable with them knowning the can go there for anything I love it

Best place to take your kids from school to the nurse to get a checkup or physical so they wont miss school. Even if they are sick.
